I’m a 3rd year MSci pharmacology student at the University of Manchester currently preparing for my 4th year project investigating the effects of the immune system on adipose tissue structure and function with the Quintana lab. The thing which stands out to me about the lab is the multidisciplinary nature. As someone from a non-immunological, non-neuroscience background I’ve found my time with lab highly insightful and the environment to be very welcoming. I’m very much looking forward to going into more full time involvement.
